Official: Mehmet Topal transfers to Fererbahce

Fenerbahce confirmed on their official website the transfer of Mehmet Topal from Valencia CF to Fenerbahce.

The reported transfer fee is 4.5 million euros, which is at least half million less what Valencia CF demanded and I believe full 1.5 million less of what I wrote Mehmet Topal was worth.

The midfielder nicknamed the 'Spider' has signed a 4 year contract with the Istanbul giants. Topal will receive €2 million per season and a €10,000 bonus per appearance.

Roberto Soldado extends contract with Valencia CF

Its official, Roberto Soldado has extended his contract with Valencia CF to 2017 and his boyout clause has also been extended to about 40 million euros.

The new contract has increased salary for Roberto Soldado, although much is said to be in bonuses and this guarantees Soldado is not going anywhere unless Valencia CF want to sell him.

This contract extension comes after Roberto Soldado said he is feeling happy at Valencia CF and wants to stay and Manuel Llorente said he'd like to see Soldado retire at Valencia CF.

Mehmet Topal still Valencia CF player

Mehmet Topal has been linked with a transfer to Fenerbahce and Turkish media in the past few days reported how its a done deal and how Topal is already a Fenerbahce player. Well Mehmet Topal demanded all the rumors and said that he is on vacation and has no intention of making a decision while on vacation and only after his vacation is over will he speak to the Valencia CF staff and decide about his future.

If Valencia CF can't get Bruno Soriano its likely that it will keep Mehmet Topal, although the biggest problem right now is Bruno's price tag which is at least 10 million euros.

Ultimately we'll see how things go and nothing is certain at this point, this could go either way.
