Aritz Aduriz close to Atletic Bilbao

Aritz Aduriz is very close to transferring to Atletico Bilbao and has reached a personal agreement with Bilbao with now only the negotiations between Valencia CF and Atletico Bilbao remaining.

Valencia CF is set to demand about 3 million euros for Aritz Aduriz who's got only 1 more year left on his contract, while Bilbao have so far only offered 2 million offer to Valencia CF.

Atletico Bilbao is set to sell Llorente this season after the Euro 2012 and they deem Aritz Aduriz like the perfect replacement.

Valencia CF is looking for possible replacements for Aduriz and Alvaro Vazquez (20) from RCD Espanyol is the first target, while Nicolás Blandi (23) from Boca Juniors are close second.

Valencia CF is also on the lookout for Miroslav Klose who is with Germany on the Euro 2012 and they feel like his similar physique to Aduriz makes him the perfect replacement as well as his vast experience and they plan to get him on a 1 year deal which the Valencia CF staff sees as great mentor to Paco and a smooth transition until next year when Paco will be given a bigger role in the team.

Mauricio Pellegrino officially presented as the new coach

Mauricio Pellegrino was officially presented as Valencia CF new coach today and he will lead the club the next two years.

He explained some things about the potential transfers of some players and said that he would love Alba to stay as he considers his one of the best in the world, but said they have replacements if he left. He also mentioned Tino Costa and said he hasn't spoken personally, but thinks he is a great player.

He reaffirmed that those who leave will have worthy replacements and that the club is working on some additional reinforcements.

He said that he wasn't the team to be attacking, but that he will work on defense as well as he was a defender himself and would like Valencia CF to have the best defense. (Thank god) Finally!!!

He said that now he wanted to begin work immediately and assemble a team around him. He said he had the support of the fans and staff and with their help would like to bring Valencia CF to the next level.

Official: Hedwiges Maduro signs for Sevilla

Hedwiges Maduro rejected Valencia CF 2 years contract offer and signed a 3 year contract with one of our rivals Sevilla.

Hedwiges Maduro had offers from Spartak Moscow where Unai Emery went, but he rejected that offer even though it had a bigger salary as he wanted to stay in Spain.

Maduro came to Valencia CF in 2008, but has failed to become a starting eleven player and his decision makes sense, although he is not going to have an easy time against Medel in Sevilla.

Barcelona in negotiations over Jordi Alba

Barcelona FC have started negotations with Valencia CF over the sale of Jordi Alba. Barcelona FC send a 12 million euros offer for Alba, but Valencia CF is set to demand 15 million euros or 12 million euros and Tello.

Barcelona don't want to give any of their players as their squad is already thin enough and are likely to increase their offer, although its not known if they will match the request for 15 million euros.

If Jordi Alba leaves Valencia CF and transfers to Barcelona FC then Valencia CF will turn to Jose Angel and Didav Villa as replacements.

Superdeporte reports how Didac Villa is first on the list to replace Jordi Alba and is likely to be released for 4 to 5 million euros.

Valencia CF transfers so far so good

Valencia CF transfers so far have been amazing with the club bringing 3 new players for a total of 6 million euros.

To find out the latest transfers before they even happen head over to the TRANSFERS page.

Jonathan Viera was signed early this month for a fee of 2.5 million euros. He joins from UD Las Palmas and is one of the biggest talents in Spain right now, many considering him to be the next Silva. He has a direct style of play and while not as technically skilled as Silva, he has flair and more strength and brute force. Great signing for Valencia CF and a talent for the future.

Andred Guardado signed a personal deal with Valencia CF over 6 months ago and will become a Valencia CF player officially on 01.07.2012 when his Deportivo La Coruna contract is officially over, but he is for all intense and purposes a Valencia CF player right now. This means he comes for free and after his best season as a player. He scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists for Deportivo this season. He is a great dribbler with amazing speed and acceleration and has also been representing Mexico since 2005 as well. He featured heavily in the golden cup win in 2011.

Joao Pereira comes from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of 3.5 million euros and at the height of his career. For defenders the years from 28 to 32 are the best and so Pereira comes at such a time. He is an explosive players with great attacking prowess, fast and powerful with great crossing ability. He lacks a bit in the defensive department and sometimes tends to forget himself in attack, but is a powerhouse in attack, while with good defensive tactics he can be reliable in defense as well. On one on one situations he tends to be quite good.
