Miguel Brito stays with Valencia CF

Miguel Brito was in negotations over rescinding his contract with Valencia CF for the past few days and the nogotations lasted all the way until the very last hour of the transfer window.

Miguel Brito wanted 3.2 million euros payout for his wages and bonuses or in other words every cent he has following from his contract, but Valencia CF weren't prepared to pay that much money and were hoping to let go of Miguel for no more than 1.5 million euros.

I think this is good news, the new right back signing Antonio even if turns out to be decent will need at least a month to get used to his new surroundings and the type of football Valencia CF play and with the recent injury of Bruno we need Miguel Brito more than ever.

Also when Miguel is in good form he is great on the pitch and ultimately that is whats important.

Valencia CF sign Antonio Barragan

Today we have some very surprising and disturbing news as it seems as Miguel Brito and Valencia CF will rescind the contract and Miguel will walk out as a free player.

Valencia CF have moved in fast to replace Miguel according to reports and have signed Liverpool and Deportivo La Coruna dropout and second division right back Antonio Barragan from Valladoid.

He has signed a five year deal and if he passes today's medical will be officially a Valencia CF player. The transfer fee is reportedly 2 million euros.

Personally I'd rather have Miguel rather than a Liverpool and Deportivo La Coruna dropout and a player that barely even featured in the second Spanish division. He is one of those third grade players that is not even close to the standard of Valencia CF.

If Miguel contract is terminated and this guy is his supposed replacement than Braulio Vasquez needs to resign right now.
